  1. PREX-2 runlist spreadsheet: [1] Github repo
    • Tao will followup with the WACs for the runs that are still "pending"
    • Paul will set up the PREX-2 setup script on adaq cluster
  2. Tao : additional combined plots looking at statistical self-consistency Git-repo HAPLOG
    • The HAPLog shows the pitt assignamsnets and the pitt distributions
    • The last pitt has a very large chisq; we think this is all the 85uA running. There seems to have be en a growing background in those runs. Cameron and Cayn mention that there had been deliberate position differences being induced, although this had started before the 85uA
    • Tao does not yet have the null asyms for the pitts
  3. Weibin and Tao: table of cuts. [2]
    • Weibin has put in the pull request for the BCM event cuts.
    • We should define the new "analog average BCM", and have the double differences of that with the other BCMs. We will not use it yet as that normalizing BCM; we will plan to do this as the next respin.
    • HOWEVER: we should switch the DSx3 runs to use DSx1 instead.
    • I point out that when we use the combined BCM as the normalizer, that is calcualted on the yields and then the asyms are calculated.
  4. Robert: pedestals
    • Paul will follow up with Roberts about the status of getting the pedestal run ranges matching the BCM ranges.
    • Caryn mentions that Robert had talked with her last week about looking at the Unser calibrations over the run. For the following respin, we should evaluate all new pedestals on everything.
    • For this current respin: just use the pedestals we have now, but fix the run ranges, EXCEPT for the blinded-tube runs which need Devi's new beam-off pedestals
  5. Victoria: beam modulation (raw data quality, residuals)
    • They have found an error flag that works for recognizing "good modulation data" to get the modulation-only asymmetries

    • Victoria ansl has the list of dithering slopes for all slugs; we need to get that pulled into the respin to have dithering
  7. Devi: blinded tubes
    • He sees a big difference between the ratio of the yields and the ratio of the asym widths and he's wondering about it
    • I ask if maybe the regression is not working well with the lower signal, so he can check for dithering responses
    • Kent also mentions that since the signal is being produced differently, the counting statitsics that produces a given yield may be different
  8. Devika BCM DDs:
    • She's evaluating the resolution of the regular and complement BPMs
  9. Overloaded regression (Tao?)
    • There have been some updates on the "prompt" and postpan repos
    • Tao and Robert are working on getting these merged in the ifarm installation
    • Do we have the dithering sensitivity extraction as part of the respin jobs? Not yet. Robert and Cameron will follow up. Robert should also talk with Ye Tian to make sure we've got the correct set of scripts.
    • Robert is reporting a filesystem permissions issue on the ifarm nodes. We might need to include an explicit group ownership in the job, or follow up with the CC
    • Should we make a combined BPM using 11 and 12?
  10. Multiplet plots: haplog3921
    • His plots of slugs 4-94 include both the 50uA and 85uA runs, and the initial plots have the single arm runs included
    • We notice that his selection is "runflag!=bad", but that may be including runs we don't want in the data set. He should check the effect of requitring just good runs in one of his "oulier slugs".
  11. stripline and cavity and complementary bpm resolution and performance.
    • Devika is working on evaluating the BPMs and the complement BPMs over the run, and see if a combination gives an improved detector resolution
    • The combined BCM gives an effective gain of 4-slugs worth of statistical precision, and we wnat to see what we can gain from the BPMs
    • There is a google sheet that tracks when either BCMs or BPMs are failing, so we know when we can use which devices
