• Beam-line Background Study elog-2921 (update to last week entry)
• An Update to Prototype collimator for PREX (Prototype-4) elog-2923

Minutes

• Targets to use for momentum calibrations. We seems to have three options
  • Water cell target
  • Gordon-style Gas cell where we can use a mixture of gases for calibration (H, He or Ne mixtures)
  • Hydrocarbon target
    • Nickie will start looking at these possibilities using the standalone simulation (AMC) used for spectrometer momentum acceptance studies.

• Beam-line background
  • Do a similar analysis in elog-2921 for PREX-I geometry to compare
• Collimator Optimization (mainly to increase neutron energy loss) by increasing the tungsten volume. Rakitha will look into this and report
