Agenda
New issues
- Status of regression with bpm1X
- Discussion of changing the beam trip holdoff duration
- Cameron has looked at several trips, and thinks that a 1-2 second holdoff may be sufficient. This would also be dependent on the beam ramp-rate. He's still in progress on putting together a summary. For now, leave the holdoff alone; perhaps don't change it for online/prompt but think about it for offline
- Cleanup of the web directory for plots
- We will get rid of the "summary/old/*" subdirectories from the PREX prompt folder, but keep all of the most recent PREX prompt results.
- This is largely done.
- We should also be able to get rid of the files like "run####_###_all.pdf" that are in the individual run subdirectories under the prex2/summary folder, as those PDF files are the concatenation of the other files in the directory.
- Robert will set up a script to check that the individual PDFs are present and then remove the "all" PDFs
- We will get rid of the "summary/old/*" subdirectories from the PREX prompt folder, but keep all of the most recent PREX prompt results.
Analyzer code updates
- PR #277 has now been merged into prex-respin1
- Robert should pull changes into the farm copy of the analyzer and respin the problem runs identified by Tao (see http://ace.phys.virginia.edu/HAPPEX/4036)
- Issue 269: diff* variables are missing in burst and muls trees
- This is a labeling issue; Paul has a fix in testing
- Paul will try to get back to this issue to see where he was in the testing
Other issues
- Last time (2 weeks ago), Cameron reports an issue in automating the aggregation of values from corrected trees: elements that are corrected based on a "mul" element as the source do not keep "asym" in the name of the corrected values, but elements corrected from a "mulc" element still do have the "asym" in their name. This makes it slightly harder to find the element in the trees in an automatic way.
- Any follow up on that?
- This probabaly should not be changed in operations, and we can consider fixing it for a future respin
- Future reorganization of the web directories: See January 16 agenda for discussion
- The "/group/prex/analysis/www/prex2/respin2_summary" looks like it was an initial test for the respin web directory, it only has 20-30 runs; we could probably remove it, but maybe shoudl check.
- We should add a web directory for the PREX AT data, and do a respin for them
- Devi was looking at the AT detectors from PREX-2, from the slug root files. The AT detectors have some outliers; this may be due to not using the local error-code on the AT elements (they are not part of the global error code). Further, these outlier runs don't seem to show up on the respin webpage. Devi will send Robert a few run numbers to look into what might have been happening with the jobs, and why they don't show up in the respin webpage.
