July 31ts, 2018 Testers: Cameron and Chandan
Goals
Test Injector NIM crate voltages to see if the error in there was a module or crate issue
Testing Injector Parity DAQ NIM logic crate
Using our voltmeter we saw that the -6V channel was off
- It read -4.2 volts instead of -6V
- So the issue was likely with the crate, not the old module
Result
- We know that the issue from July 27th was likely caused by a bad NIM crate, not the module itself
To Do
- Replace the NIM crate
- Rewire everything in the Injector DAQ
- Label everything
- Write out a diagram of the logic and the channels
