Agenda

April 14

  • Results from last month have been polished
    • They have been applied to respin1 data to generate corrections
    • And are included in JAPAN respin2 map files
      • For posterity and ease of use
      • Though, another pass of eigenvector and slope calculations should be done with the respin2 data, at least to compare with the respin1 generated outputs

Presentation:

  • Looking at correction results from the various regression and dithering analyses side by side

March 17th

  • Perfecting results from last week.
  • Next step: Apply corrections and compare regression and dithering (both with 3-parts of CREX eigen vectors averaged as input) corrections and systematic differences.
  • Eigen vectors and slopes haplog

March 10th

Updates to eigen-vector combos: Different averaging time scales give stability to somewhat noisy eigen combos. These can be used in dithering analysis.

Feb 24 plan

Plan for this week:

  • Done - Plots of composition of the evMon combo BPMs vs. time
  • Done? - See if combos can be cleaned up more? - After fixing a typo it looks better, but some time periods still have combo ambiguities
  • Ongoing - 95 Segment-wise combo definition averages
    • Done - Eigen Vector regression slopes from these averages, compare to minirun-wise slopes results
    • Average combos used for dithering analysis
    • Direct comparison with eigenvector regression
  • Also check on residual sensitivities calculated using these slopes
  • Also check on lagrange analysis

Notes

Cameron had the wrong root tree getting plotted - after fixing the typo the plots on HAPLOG 4478 are updated to show the less noisy BPM combos. There are still some jumps around and stuff, but no nearly as bad as what was shown (and the line plot is now just a * plot)
