Minutes
- New Hall A DS lumi design udate, see elog 2968
- Goal for new design is to have Qweak design implemented under hall A constraints
- Compatibility check so far pass all the constraints except Qweak light guide is not yet checked in this new desing
- The PMT tubes were purged in N2 due to PMT spec. requirement and to keep moisture out of the tube area.
- Ciprian's preliminary comparison using Happex design for Radiation Around Septum and HRS Area Electronics, see elog 2967
- This simulation was done at 1 GeV electron beam with PREX-II collimator and PREX-II fringe field
- Next step will be to simulate at 3 GeV electron beam with PREX-I collimator and fringe field
From Last week
- Check the PREX beam dump - Lorenzo and Rakitha
- We may not need to keep tracks after about 3 m into the dump therefore we could add kryptonite

- Beam parasitic studies needs a to-do list

- It would be nice to have real-time viewer for optics studies in commissioning (disussed in 01/16/2014 meeting)
