Agenda

1. Scheduling - Kent:
   • KP: bad budget will mean that tritium is being pushed back (fall 2017 and spring of 2018), but we are still on track for summer/fall 2018.
2. Optics simulation: Tyler
   • TK: haplog 3348: Nickie sent a table with calculated values and Tyler will update slide 7 accordingly.
   • TK: haplog 3350: produced plots from single electron 5 degree scattering into the LHRS. ran for different septum tune and target position. The plots show that the septum tune is not large enough for the transport y coordinate to reach 0. We should go to a weaker tune for the septum.
   • SR: the field interpolation could be badly implemented and it may be cause the kink in att4. KP: do a check around -1053 and moving the field by 1 cm or so.
   • Guido: is the HRS dipole set properly? (when we move around we should match the HRS as well). SR: we are looking at the entrance of Q1 so this study to should tell us exactly what you point out.
   • KP: this study should be done with the real magnet before we run? SR: yes. KP: we should pay attention because the beam we will receive can be up to 50 MeV off which can produce mm offsets. This would mean that we will lose acceptance.
