Agenda

1. Tritium simulations: Adam haplog
   • AZ: indeed the shadow was due to the septum kryptonite detector.
   • AZ: we plan to measure the does at different locations (in particular close to the HRS platform or close the entrance of the dump)
2. TOSCA update: Adam haplog
   • AZ: the script sent over by Jay works great, but I am still trying to understand the output
   • AZ: the dipole component seems to be consistent with what we had before and we can see a good reduction from the tritium Q1 shielding
   • AZ: the quadruple component seems to be wrong. JB: when you estimate the total quad component you need to divide by the distance between the points. KP: the plots show the cos0, cos1 components but we may be interpreting them badly. JB: the circles I use in the script are at 3cm so you need to divide by 3^n.
3. SAM redesign - Cameron, Tao
   • CC: we are analyzing the output from a couple of designs. by next week will have tables with results.
   • KP: would vary the length of the can, thickness of the can (look at post in the elog for thickness)
   • TY: working on determining the signal level
   • KP: you should look at the dump elastomer (the plastic ring). AZ: detector 3201
4. Other:
   • KP: a draft of the acc schedule should be released soon.
