I am a graduate student at the University of Manitoba, advised by Dr. Juliette Mammei. My work so far has been on simulating magnetic fields for non-linear materials using finite element analysis, specifically studying the septum and quadrupole fringe fields and saturation of the iron yoke for the PREX and CREX experiments. Setting up and programming the data acquisition system in the Manitoba lab, as well as testing the QWAD and investigating its time-over-threshold capability and possible applications in other experiments.
