Agenda / Minutes

1. Cameron: SAM sims
   • CC: will present tomorrow with an update for the no SAM configuration but with 5 cm upstream target
   • KP: we should take care of the raster as well. CG: once we get the optics information from Yves we will update the main sim and port the information to Cameron's version
2. Ciprian: thermal neutrons slides
   • CG: it looks like the thermals are at the HRS are significantly smaller than during PREX1. For the collimator region the concrete shielding is very important and can provide significant improvement on the thermal numbers for PREX2. There does not seem to be a significant difference between 5% Boron or 50% Boron
3. Victoria: FLUKA sims
   • KP: we will need an updated run once we figure out exactly what we will run. VO: that should be easy to do. Already have numbers for the concrete vs borated concrete, but will need to implement the borated HDPE for accuracy.
