Agenda

1. New branch "operations"
   • PK: Should be checked out as the production analyzer on adaq
   • PK: Only parameter file changes should go to this branch; all other development should be based on "develop"
   • PK: once APEX goes into production and we have gone through all the calibrations we should push config changes back to develop
2. online plots
   • CC: wiki page for running japan JAPAN_Doc_Portal#Using_JAPAN_on_adaq_cluster
   • WD: the map file seems to have been restored. Still woking to make sure it is ready for prime time.
   • PK: we still are working on getting Japan to work with the double ET system.
   • CG: we should keep the macro folder in panguin for configuration files only.
3. regression analysis
   • PK: RR has all the 3 data handler classes working. Is now setting up configurations to run on prex data.
4. feedback
   • PK: talked to Amali and showed her what Japan feedback is doing and pointed her to where she should be looking (including the epics communications class)
   • PK: we will turn off the compilation of the feedback in the develop branch and have it working only in the operations branch.
5. DAQ issues
   • Cleaning counting house crate
     • PK: Cameron and I will take a look at it the week of the 24th Feb
6. VQWK adcs
   • PK: Cameron replaced the VQK that had BPM 8 plugged in. And will meet with Chris Cuevas to talk about repair and testing.
7. Pull requests:
   • CG: please do NOT just merge a pull request by yourself. Wait for review.
8. DAQ tasklist:
   • CC: updated below
9. Other issues
   • Change to the PC HVs
     • KP: create new feedback script and remove the +x from all the other scripts

1 Doing - Timing: mostly understood, still small mysteries (LNE)
2 Doing - Synchronization-check system. w/help from Ed Jastrzembski
3 Done - File naming, reset run num, finalize configs (INJ, CH, ALL) 
4 Done - Fix scalers on spectrometer crates.
5 To Do - Clean up cabling, labels, fasteners - First need to examine all signals
6 Clean up CRL -- eliminate so-called "dirty trick"
7 Check the 7200 scaler setup at injector, find a spare 7200.
8 Doing - Pedestal studies, aka cross-talk.  
9 Done - Test JAPAN. Need cable map & labels. Possibly maintain "pan" ?
10 Green Monster maintenance.
11 Doing - Test spares.  Repair bad modules.
12 Doing - Document everything.  Circuit diagrams, cable map, "how to".
13 Online software, a bit undefined since software is changing.

 * Revive all crates.
 * Deploy all ADCs needed and test each channel.
 * Build various DAQ configs with subsets of the DAQ crates.
 * Timing diagram, check timing of external signals and readout.
 * ET system upgrade, test rate limits, ensure deadtime zero.
 * Implement Bank structure.
