Agenda
- Bob and Cameron : Replace bad NIM crate with new one and ensure that original functionality is still there, including the delayed T_Settle output to the STR7200 Scaler
- Bob and Cameron : Get Bank data structure incorporated in Prex_ts_banks.crl functionality
- Simona and Cameron : Cameron will go through the old Moller Polarimeter DAQ and Analysis code to understand and document it on the hallaweb wiki
Minutes
- Bob and Cameron: Replace NIM crate in Injector Parity DAQ
- We replaced the bad NIM crate with a new one from Riad
- We noted the wires and put everything back
- We also restored the T_Settle delayed-to-STR7200 module
- The delay offset is not behaving as expected when twisting knobs - Ask Paul King
- Run 4122 is an Injector.crl run in TI-standalone triggering mode
- Run 4123 is another - data looks good in both
- Check if the helicity signal looks good
- Amali's notes for checking helicity signal - some problems existed, eventually got worked out, but we need a timing diagram and we need to verify that things are working as intended later
- Bob and Cameron: Adding in Bank structures to Prex_ts_banks.crl
- Bob says that putting a bank around groups of similar modules is fine, rather than having a bank per individual module
- This could get complicated for the current configuration that has some conditional flags determining which modules are read for the same old-style header
- Simona and Cameron: Moller Polarimeter DAQ and Analysis code
- Prex II will run wil the "old DAQ" while the "new DAQ" is being developed and deployed in parallel
- PAW code is being used to do the analysis (compiled exec commands from .f files)
- Roman Pomatsalyuk wrote the code
- We should rewrite it in C++ so it can be tracked and known by newer people too
- /adaq1/data1/moller has NTuples and CODA files stored in it
- /moller/bin/rawread turns CODA files into NTuples
- Roman will send a detailed DAQ map so we can check that everything is still connected - Friday at 10:30 AM
- We will have Weekly Meetings on Tuesday mornings
- Hall A closes in the 3rd week of September
