  1. Installation progress: Ciprian docDB363
    • KP: can I be looped into the conversations with the alignment crew?
    • NL: when are we going to the have a discussion about the GEM installation. SR: we would like to have everything ready by May 1 for canning into the HRS. DM: the idea is the assemble the GEMs on the floor and then crane it up while the stacks are out and then push the stacks into the hut. The main detectors will be installed afterwards.
    • KP: when are we starting the assembly in the floor? DM: we should be ready by May 1st. SR: putting the frame together and GEMs before May 1st.
  2. SAM installation: Devi docDB366
    • DA: slide 5 when changing 1-3 the offset goes with the preAmp. Tried different Lumi preAmp boxes and they seems to produce the same effect. DM: the LumiH8 doesn’t have any documentation, so hopefully we can find more of them (will follow up with Mark P and Dave M).
    • DA: also swapped the cables and the noise did not follow.
  3. PQB studies and plans: Caryn
    • CP: we changed the laser pulse duration by about 2ps. We did two Wien flip: the vertical Wien, and the solenoid. The vertical Wein was shown to produce symmetric position difference.
    • CP: The helicity flip rate will be 120 Hz line sync
    • CP: Th/Fr will need Amali’s help
    • CP: later test japan feedback on laser table first. AP: will get in touch with Paul K if assistance is needed for position feedback.
    • CP: Cameron and I discovered that it was triggering on the falling edge instead of the rising edge. Cameron will test it on Friday. If Roger Flood we will update the firmware on the actual helicity board. 356us wide signal
    • KP: if it’s beam sync why does it matter which edge we are triggering on? CP: not sure. we will investigate.
