Minutes

• Update Pavel with this results and discuss about further simulation that he wants to do
  • Coordinate with Alan and Pavel to get the correct geometry ported to Radconn simulation
  • Discuss about the activation of collimator and scattering chamber area.
    • Al vs stainless steel for the scattering chamber attachment -> Lorenzo did simulation work looking at this.
• Get a machine drawing from Alan where we can see plane drawings with elevation and etc, so that we can see around scattering chamber and SC attachment area
• Finish the neutron shileding work
  • Thickness for water shielding inside the SC : what is the actual thickness of water shielding we need and the thickness of the aluminum for the water container
  • Optimized to block line of sights from the collimator
  • Give geometry to Alan so he can update it
• Get the parity DAQ working by late October

Misc.

• Beam parasitic studies needs a to-do list

• We need to have an estimate of how much coulombs used for PREX-I data and an estimate for PREX-II to determine effectively how much more beam time we will use.
• Have a optic calibration run plan (discussed in 01/16/2014 meeting)
• It would be nice to have real-time viewer for optics studies in commissioning (disussed in 01/16/2014 meeting)
