Update from meeting with JLab engineering and physics
Minutes
- Magnet TOSCA field update - Juliette
- Paul Brindza have the model and geometry for york and coils for PREX and CREX
- There is still missing components in the current TOSCA model Juliette currently have
- BH curve for the septum and York material
- Some technical issues when geometry for the shield is included in the TOSCA model
- Time estimate for getting a complete model for PREX/CREX septum magnet using TOSCA? Juliette
- PREX/CREX Target meeting, Nov 18, 2015 - Kent
- elog-3023
- Use Aluminum for a new scattering chamber and collimator box
- 48Ca target oxidation how thick the oxidation layer for a pure 48Ca target
- Juliette will test it using 48Ca samples
- Is there a method to clean the 48Ca oxidation but if the layer is very thick then we lose 48Ca
Misc.
TO DO Lists
- It would be nice to have real-time viewer for optics studies in commissioning (discussed in 01/16/2014 meeting)
