Open Panguin
- Check if an instance of panguin is already running on the machine.
- If not, open a terminal and follow the steps below:
- Type "ssh apar@aonl1 -Y".
- Enter the password when prompted.
- If you do not know the password, ask the analysis shifter.
- Type "panguin". A GUI window will pop up.
- Click on the radio buttons to choose which plots to look at.
Analysis Shifters
Analysis shifters should open a different panguin window to monitor runs.
- ssh to apar@adaq2
- Enter command
gojapan
- Do
cd panguin
- Then you can run
./build/panguin -f macros/<some config file probably ending in .cfg> -r <run number>
- A good macro file will likely be some variation of cwac_checkrun.cfg. Do note that as of 2019-06-21 this macro doesn't work due to errors in addressing the tree names in JAPAN output.
