Standing Agenda

  1. RC Status Report
  2. Subsystem status reports
  3. Daily Run Plan

To Do

Short term (today): Day/swing-Moller lock, optics check, adiabatic damping, (ffb?), Swing/owl-Find chole and make sure same position as before, sieve in Ca48 run, detector alignment check, Q2. Stop by 6:30am.

Longer term plan:

Accelerator Tasks:

Group 1:

 1. Moller lock
 2. Vwein/solenoid adjustment for vertical transverse
 3. Spin Dance
 4. VWein/solenoid fine tune optimization to minimize v. transverse for both flip right and flip left at new HWein angle.

Group 2:

 1. Damping test, Matching improvement
 2. Tune beam for low backgrounds through the Compton chicane
 3. FFB commissioning

Group 3:

 1. Spot size
 2. Phase Advance

———————————————— Hall Tasks: Restarting in hall:

  • - check target position and raster size using spot++ and carbon hole
  • we should start with counting run using VDCs and downstream detectors (careful setup/backout, but no access required)
  • remember safeguards
o ramp rate <10uA/sec (in small steps or slower if necessary)
o run at collimator center, but verify target is where we expect (or else, framehunt to be certain)
o keep an eye of dp / Teifenbach measurement

Soon we need: ————————————————

  • - pulsed beam synch check
  • Low current -> high current cavities
  • Sieve IN Ca-48 counting run (to hunt inelastic cross-sections)
  • Recheck of det alignment
  • another Q2 measurement
